DILLON CAMPBELL M.S., LAT, ATC, NREMT, PES, CES

Dillon Campbell is a highly qualified and experienced athletic trainer who has excelled in providing quality care to his patients. He has a Master of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, with a focus on Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention, from California University of Pennsylvania.

 

Additionally, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Miami University. During his time at Miami University, Dillon took courses in medical sociology and exercise science, including Motor Learning and Control, Exercise Physiology, and Exercise Prescription.

Dillon's professional experience as a Head Athletic Trainer includes working with the Norfolk Admirals, a hockey team affiliated with the Las Vegas Golden Knights, and the Amarillo Bulls of the North American Hockey League. He has also provided athletic training coverage to Colorado College club sports teams, intramural program, and campus recreation activities. Dillon is highly skilled in injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation.

Dillon has several certifications, including Basic Life Support and Stop the Bleed from the American Heart Association, and a National Provider Identifier. He is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and various state athletic trainers associations. He was a member of the medical services ATC team at the 2021 U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Track & Field. Dillon has appeared on ATTalks and Hopper Hot Take to discuss EMS relationships, Emergency Action Plans, and Emergency Care.

 

Dillon Campbell currently serves as the Program Director for Athletic Trainer at Optim Orthopedics, where he oversees the development and management of the athletic training program. He is also the Head Athletic Trainer for the Savannah Ghost Pirates, the Las Vegas Golden Knights affiliate in the ECHL. In this role, he provides comprehensive athletic training coverage to prevent, evaluate, manage, and rehabilitate injuries and illnesses. Working closely with team physicians, coaching staff, physical therapists, and workers compensation representatives, Dillon manages all hockey-related injuries and illnesses and ensures that the athletes receive the highest quality of care. With his extensive knowledge and experience in athletic training, Dillon has become a valuable member of the sports medicine community and has contributed significantly to the development and improvement of athletic training programs.
