Premier Surgery Center Performs First Stryker Mako Robotic-Assisted Total Joint Surgery

[Brunswick, GA – September 10, 2025] Premier Surgery Center in Brunswick, Georgia, successfully performed its first Stryker Mako robotic-assisted total joint surgery on Monday, September 8. The procedure was performed by Kevin Brooks, MD, a total joint surgeon with Optim Orthopedics, who has completed more than 2,000 robotic-assisted joint replacement surgeries during his career.

Same-day hip and knee replacement procedures are designed to relieve chronic pain caused by arthritis and restore patients’ mobility.
