Optim Orthopedics and Club Savannah have a common goal; and that is to keep our athletes healthy and in their best playing condition. Unfortunately, injuries can happen both on and off the court; so we want to make sure that our coaches, athletes, and parents are informed and working together to keep our players healthy and safe.

As an official Club Savannah Volleyball sponsor, Optim Orthopedics has dedicated two orthopedic physicians to serve as the Club’s team doctors. The role of the team doctor is to be available to the coaches to help assess the injury, advise the best course of action and treatment, and facilitate any orthopedic follow-up or imaging that may be needed. This direct access to orthopedic care engages everyone in the athlete’s recovery process. The physician, coaches, parents, and player are all working together to ensure the best recovery outcome.

Club Sav's Mission

Club Savannah mission is to promote the sport of volleyball and the concept of a team. Club Savannah strives to develop well-rounded student athletes.

Developing young athletes and allowing them to mature into excellent volleyball players is the goal of our club. clubSAV is a true training club that stresses consistent teaching of technique and strategy across all teams and age groups. We train each athlete the same way from the age of 9 to 18. Each year in our program, athletes will advance their skills by learning more advanced techniques that build on what they have already learned.

Club Sav Philosophy

Our philosophy emphasizes the importance of helping players develop a positive, overall self-image through sports. Players will learn good fundamental skills, in addition to self-discipline, confidence and leadership. The philosophy of clubSAV is that if an athlete is giving their personal best, then they are successful, regardless of the outcome of the immediate competition. We will focus on helping athletes learn how to “compete” in all situations, which means giving them the tools to do their personal best to accomplish success. Success is much more than winning matches or championships; success is understanding that if you give your very best effort, good things will happen. Winning isn‘t everything…. trying your best to be successful is everything.

We Are in Your Corner

Sports Therapy - Physical Therapy

Our sports physical therapy approach is tailored to match your needs as an athlete. Physical therapy programs required by a golfer will not apply to a football player or a swimmer or a ballet dancer. Thus, we understand that each sport has different physical requirements. While we use all the fundamental skills of physical therapy, we utilize a unique mode of sport-specific integrated training (strength and conditioning) and rehabilitation techniques in order to help our athletes return to optimal health quickly, efficiently, and safely.

Get Off The Sidelines And Back In The Game

Any involvement in sports comes with the risk of suffering an injury. Since sports tend to be physically and mentally demanding, athletes endure many types of physical pain, trauma, and stress. For athletes of all ages, the sports injury rehab specialists at Optim Orthopedics Therapy are ready to deliver the care, attention, and advice you need to recover fully.

All of our physical therapists are ready to provide the care and support you need to get back to your sport. No matter what level of intensity, we will diligently work with you to create a custom program that suits your condition, your sport, and your athletic goals.

We take pride in being the musculoskeletal experts. This means we are incredibly familiar with the biomechanics of every joint, muscle, and tendon of the body, and how to improve their performance so you can achieve athletic excellence – no matter what sport-specific strengthening requirements you need.

If you need more information on how to rehabilitate injured athletes, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We work closely with athletic trainers and sports team physicians in order to achieve an effective rehabilitation and preventative process.
