Optim Orthopedics Team Physicians
The hallmark of Optim Orthopedics has always been going beyond what’s expected to offer something more. That means not just caring for patients, but caring for the entire community. And one of the most inspiring examples of that ethic for more than a decade has been their commitment to area high school prep sports.
Under the umbrella of the Optim Sports Medicine Program, physicians from Optim Orthopedics are able to deliver unparalleled care to student athletes from 22 high schools throughout Georgia. Whatever the sport, our medical staff is on hand to ensure every athlete receives the utmost care as part of a comprehensive program that addresses treatment, recognition and prevention of injuries as well as issues surrounding heat and hydration.
Whether it’s computerized testing for concussions or proactive approaches that prevent injuries, Optim Orthopedics is proud to help these student athletes excel on the field, while providing the finest care in the Southeast.“Hands down the most rewarding part of participating in care for student athletes is seeing them recover from an injury and return to a sport they love,” said physician director Dr. Don G. Aaron. “There are few things more gratifying than that.”

Karl Demasi - Prep Sports Report
The Prep Sports Report has been delivering local sports news one way or another for 20 years, and we’re proud to continue serving the Coastal Empire! Where will you find stories and information about the most outstanding student athletes in our area? The Prep Sports report of course.
Led by local legend, Karl Demasi, and former area sports reporter, Stephen Weeks, the Prep Sports Report has been reimagined as a website that wants to celebrate the young men and women who are setting the sports standard in Savannah and the surrounding area. There are so many great stories out there, and we want to make it easy for local sports fans to find the information they want about their favorite school, favorite sport or favorite athletes.
